About Us
Two Pots is the brainchild of a Jamaican and American wife and husband team respectfully. The husband, who is a retired US Army veteran has over 20 years professional culinary experience in professional sports catering (serving both athletes and patrons), college cafeterias, amusement parks and large and small restaurants across America. The Jamaican wife, a passionate food enthusiast and home cook with professional training and experience in teaching secondary level education, business and accounting, has also operated her own food delivery business. It has long been the dream of this dynamic duo to open a restaurant that embodies their many shared and individual ideas concerning high quality taste, authentic flavors and cooking methods, customer service and relationship building, location aesthetics and value for money. Having moved to the state of Missouri since 2019 and frequented and sampled the offerings across Kansas City and the surrounding areas, it quickly became apparent that this city could become the home of the first installment of this dream restaurant & catering concept.
